About Angus Glen
In 1957 Arthur Stollery bought the land to raise Aberdeen Angus cattle, which gave the area its name. The golf club opened in 1995, and the following year his son Gordon Stollery began building the residential community. Its East Village won the Ontario Home Builders' Association award for Best New Community in 1997.
Angus Glen Golf Club has a South Course (1995) and a North Course (2001). It hosted the Canadian Open in 2002 and again in 2007, once on each course.
Homes in Angus Glen
Angus Glen is known for larger detached and executive homes, many on streets near the golf course, along with townhouses. Kylemore, the Stollery family's company, has built more than 1,000 homes in the community.
The newest phase, Angus Glen South Village, broke ground in 2024 with townhouses and detached homes, and more homes including mid-rise condos are planned.
