PRIVACY POLICY

1. Who is responsible

This website, kennethsek.com, is operated by Kenneth Sek Personal Real Estate Corporation, operating as Kenneth Sek Homes (text and call programs are operated by KSek Homes Inc.), a salesperson with RE/MAX Realtron Realty Inc., Brokerage, 7800 Woodbine Ave, PH1, Markham, ON L3R 2N7 (together, "I", "me" and "my"). I am responsible for personal information collected through kennethsek.com. Contact: [email protected] or 416 829 0081. This policy does not cover kennethsek.torontoneighborhoods.com, which is operated on a separate platform and has its own notices.

2. Information collected

Information you provide through forms, calls, texts and email, which may include your name, email address, telephone number, property address, real estate objective, timeline, form selections and messages, together with my replies. Calendly collects your name, email and selected time when you book a call and shares that booking with me. Information collected automatically through cookies and similar technology, including pages viewed, clicks, approximate location, device and browser type, referring source and cookie identifiers. I do not place your name, email address or telephone number in analytics.

3. Purposes and consent

Information is used to respond to you; to provide real estate services you request, including valuations; to send requested checklists and market updates (each with an unsubscribe mechanism); to analyze and improve the website; to measure and improve advertising and to show my advertising to prior visitors (remarketing); and to keep records and meet legal and brokerage obligations. By submitting a form you consent to being contacted about real estate services. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting me.

4. Service providers

I use the following service providers, some of which are located in the United States, such that information may be processed outside Canada and be accessible under foreign law: Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads (usage, conversion activity and cookie identifiers); Meta Pixel (usage, conversion activity and cookie identifiers); Follow Up Boss (contact management, pages viewed, device and cookie identifiers, and form details); Formspree (delivery of form submissions); Calendly (booking details); YouTube, Google Maps and Google Fonts (IP address and device details upon loading); and Cloudflare (hosting and security, including IP address).

5. Cookies and advertising

The tools above use cookies to recognize returning browsers, permitting Google and Meta to show my advertising to prior visitors and to report whether an advertisement led to a form or booking. You may turn off personalized advertising in Google Ad Settings and Meta Ad Preferences, use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, opt out of interest-based advertising at youradchoices.ca, or block or delete cookies in your browser. The website will continue to function, although certain measurement and advertising features will not.

6. Telephone numbers and text messages

If you provide a telephone number and tick the optional consent box on a form, KSek Homes Inc. may call, email and text you about real estate services. The box is not required to submit a form or to work with me. Text message terms are set out in the Terms. I do not sell, rent or share your telephone number, text message opt-in or consent with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used only to contact you regarding matters you requested, and service providers (including my CRM and text carriers) process messages on my behalf and may not use your number for any other purpose. To stop texts, reply STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. You may also email [email protected].

7. Disclosure

I do not sell personal information. I disclose it only to the service providers in section 4; to RE/MAX Realtron Realty Inc., which is responsible for records of real estate transactions; to other professionals involved in your transaction, such as lawyers, lenders and other representatives, when you ask me to or a transaction requires it; and to regulators or authorities where required by law.

8. Retention

Enquiries and client records are retained for as long as needed to assist you and to meet record keeping requirements applicable to real estate transactions, and are then securely deleted or anonymized. Google Analytics data is set to expire after 14 months. On request I will delete your information unless the law requires me to retain a record.

9. Your rights

Under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) you may request access to and a copy of your personal information, request correction of inaccurate information, withdraw consent to contact or marketing, and request deletion. Send requests to [email protected]. I will respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity. If you are not satisfied you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).

10. Security and minors

The website is served over HTTPS, forms are transmitted over an encrypted connection, and access to client information is limited. No system is completely secure; please do not submit banking passwords or identification numbers through website forms. This website is intended for adults and I do not knowingly collect information from children.

11. Changes
